Independence Day Parade

6:00 PM on Saturday, July 3rd

It’s well into Summertime and Talihina is absolutely bustling with events! This years Independence Day Parade will contain floats, prizes, contests and music. Submissions are still open for any businesses, churches, organizations, and individuals who want to enter floats in the parade. Talihina business owners are also challenged to a 4th of July Decoration Contest with winners to be declared. Details and Parade Route below!

Line up starts at 5:00 P.M. They are asking that everyone be lined up by 5:30 P.M. for the Judges. Parade to begin at 6:00.

There will be a winner for each of the following categories: Most Patriotic, Judges Favorite, Most Unique & Best Use of Theme. The theme is, “Let Freedom Ring.” 

There is no competition entry fee and they require entry by June 25th in order for Judges to make their rounds. Judges will be coming around on Friday, July 2nd to Judge.
